E28's Craft of Toques!!!

E28 is going to send us a parcel and we are very excited to watch these photos of your making the Canadian traditional "toques" which are on the way to Taiwan!!!

March 29, 2012 (from Mr. Saulnier)

E28 with the help of our arts education instructor Ms. Mills have completed a uniquely Canadian craft of toques.  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toque#Canadian_usage).  Please enjoy our pictures of sewing them.  Also we are putting the final touches on a parcel and we will be sending your students the toques we made when our parcel is finished!

5-6 singing (Grade 5, Class 6)

G5-6 is a very shy and polite class.  The thing they like most in English class is Singing!
We are so lucky to have Raine and Louise (and Loise's husband) to hear them sing out loud...
Thanks to these kind teachers in the USA.

E28 is proud to present L is for Land of the Living Skies: A Saskatchewan Alphabet.  We attend a Saskatchewan school and this book describes our landscape and many of our daily happenings and customs.  We hope you enjoy our students reading and we are pleased to be sending your classroom their very own copy of the book.  Due to the size of the videos we have broken the reading into 5 separate videos.  ENJOY!

March 16, 2012 (From Mr. Saulnier)

Wow!  It’s been awhile since we have posted on here.  We just finished our Spring (Semester) break.  The snow has since melted, but we want to share some pictures of us cross-country skiing.  We are also finishing a uniquely Canadian craft to send your way in a parcel.  Hopefully soon!  We are also reading a book about Saskatchewan (our Canadian province) that we are recording and planning to post the video soon.  Stay tuned.
