Fun with Snow and Hot tea from Russia
It is a precious and full of fun lesson from our Russian classpals. They introduced snow, how they had fun making snowmen and how they played with snow during this white season. They also demostrated us the hot tea tradition in Russia. The silver tea kettle "samovar" caught our eyes and we found it very beautiful and very special. What a great lesson from Russia!!! Thanks, kids! You have done a great job!

Skype with Daria's Class
Today our skype guest was Lin-lin from Taiwan. She is an English teacher at elementary school. She can speak Chinese, Taiwanese, English and a little Spanish. Her hobby is swimming, reading novels and listening to the radio. She told us that in Taiwan it only snows in the mountains. Lin-lin has never been to Russia, but she would like to visit Saint-Petersburg, and Ulyanovsk, too.
Lin-lin, nice to meet you and hope to talk to you again soon!

5-6 singing (Grade 5, Class 6)
G5-6 is a very shy and polite class. The thing they like most in English class is Singing!
We are so lucky to have Raine and Louise (and Loise's husband) to hear them sing out loud...
Thanks to these kind teachers in the USA.

Happy to meet friends in Russia
Ziliya's Class and 5-4, Linlin's Class met on Feb. 21st!
It is so exciting and we had a lot of fun. The voice transmission was kind of slow and unclear. Maybe next time I should downsize the class (divided into small groups, and every meeting send only one group for focussing on the listening and speaking part) in order to improve the quality of interaction. Thanks to the lovely pupils from Russia and especially to their dedicated English teacher, Ziliya.

Skype with Ziliya's class, Russia
Thanks to Ziliya and her class! By means of the meeting, my students are willing to study English harder in the future although they have only 80-minute English class each week. Now they know English is a need for them to communicate with friends of other nations. What an exciting experience!

Our Guest from Cambodia
G6 speaking English with Venerable Piseth
In Taiwan, most primary school students learn English from G3, 80 minutes a week. There are fat chances to speak English in a real scene in daily lives for them. Thanks to Venerable Piseth who is willing to help out and does not mind to repeat his answers again and again. He has been very patient and kind to my students through all the meeting. Some of my students who are always passive in learning English "waked" up in the class this time. I am very grateful to have such a meaningful conversation.
